3D2N MT. KINABALU CLIMBING

You may also wanted to spend the night before the climb at Kinabalu Park's room/lodges or nearby resort/cabin. Then you will get the chances to visit to the nearby attractions such as Poring Hot Spring.

SAMPLE OF ITINERARY: -

DAY 1 - Pick up from city hotel in Kota Kinabalu/BKI Airport. Starts the 3 hours journey to Poring Hot Spring. On the way, pass by small towns and villages until stop by at Nabalu Fruit Market/Kundasang Market for a break. Upon arrival at Poring Hot Spring, take a refreshing dip of the hot sulphur in indoor or outdoor tubs/take 45 minutes round trek to the famous Canopy Walkway, 100 to 200 ft. above the forest floor. Lunch at local restaurant. Then, transfer to Kinabalu Rose Cabin for check in and free at own leisure. Evening, dinner and overnight at the same cabin.

DAY 2 - Breakfast at the cabin’s restaurant. Check out and transfer to Kinabalu National Park in 5 minutes drive. Upon arrival at Kinabalu National Park, proceed to headquarter and register for the climb. After collect your packed lunch, together with your mountain guide, transfer to Timpohon Gate (Power Station). Start to ascend the mountain at 1,886m a.s.l until reach the mountain rest house (6km/4-5hrs walk). Upon arrival, check in to one of the rest house (heated/non heated dormitory). Dinner is served at Laban Rata Restaurant. Overnight at one of the rest house (heated/non heated dormitory).

DAY 3 - 0230hrs, wake up call and have your own light breakfast. 0300hrs, start to summit to the highest peak of the mountain, Low’s Peak at 4,095.2m a.s.l (2.72km/2-3hrs walk). After witness the magnificent sunrise and took some photo for remembrance, descend back to the rest house. After breakfast at Laban Rata Restaurant, pack up and descend to Timpohon Gate. Transfer to headquarter and collect your certificate of achievement. Lunch is served at Liwagu Restaurant. After lunch, depart from the park and transfer back to your city hotel in Kota Kinabalu.

Includes: 1 night’s stay at Kinabalu Rose Cabin (Standard Twin Room), 1 night's stay at 11,000 ft of Mountain Rest House (Heated/Non Heated Dormitory), Transportation, 07 x Meals, Entrance Fees, Mt. Climbing Permit Fee, Mt. Climbing Insurance, Certificate of Achievement, Mountain Guide and English Speaking Tour Guide

Special Notes: It is recommended that all climbers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any mountain climb. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommend that you should refrain from climbing: Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart disease, severe anemia, Peptic ulcers, Epileptic fits, Obesity (overweight), Chronic asthma, Muscular cramps, Hepatitis (jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper the climber
